Coach David has been in the fitness and Mixed Martial Arts industry for 17 years with professional, local and international experience.

He has travelled yearly to Thailand for the past 12 years to train and compete professionally in Muay Thai and to keep up to date with the latest training regimes. Coach David trained under some of the best coaches in Thailand, namely Kin Por Promin who is a former multiple Thai Champion in Rajadamnern Stadium and Slatan Kiatkorwit who is a 4 time World Champion and multiple Thai Champion as well as Teerapong Kiatkorwit who has held multiple World Titles including ISKA World Title which he won from Muay Thai world legend Ramon Dekkers.

He has coached many local and international champions, one being Ruan Potts who won the EFC Heavy Weight Title, and is currently training the EFC Light Heavy Weight Champion, Champion Dalcha. While in Thailand he trained alongside the current women’s UFC Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and women’s UFC Bantamweight contender, Valentina Shevchenko, among many other well-known and talented athletes in the industry.

He has worked almost every aspect of this industry; as a coach, a judge, and a referee. Coach David has a fighting record of 49 professional Muay Thai Fights. He has twice been the Lightweight South African Muay Thai Champion (Received South African Protea Colours), Tongsala Stadium Koh Phangan (Thailand) Super 8 Champion and has won the International Super Fight Championship of Chaweng Stadium (Thailand) three times.
